As an early childhood educator, I’ve had lots of experience with different types of children’s shoes but they were hard to put on, hard to clean, hard soles and need replacing frequently. And constantly fall off.
Now that I am a mother, I wanted to do some research on the best shoes for my boy who’s learning to walk.
Then I came across BillyCart kids shoes, never have I seen or heard of this brand before but it straight away caught my attention. The designs and colours looked amazing!
The reviews and the features of the shoes made me love it more. I’ve always been about letting children be barefoot but sometimes it’s just safer (and in policies) for them to wear shoes.
So I ordered a few different pairs. Then ONLY 1 hour after I ordered them, they were already shipped! And they arrived so quickly! I have never been through a company so efficient and quick!!
Once they arrived, I was actually even more shocked. The quality is just amazing! Better than I could’ve expected. The shoes feel very supported and very comfortable. The Velcro looks really good quality and looks like it will last compared to other brands.
These shoes are perfect for walking around, everywhere and anywhere! In summer or winter! With or without sock!! Now that’s a game changer!! Great for Climbing, walking, running, jumping, balancing, on sand, in water and mud (so easy to clean). These really are the best shoes for children to learn their Gross Motor Skills in!!
The best shoes for growing feet! So much space for their toes and lots of support for balancing. So easy to clean, put on and durable! I honestly think these shoes are the best choice for children, (and also for the parents and the educators/teachers!)
I’ll definitely be buying lots more pairs soon!
We love the comfortable durable material and the design to fit the natural shape of my son's feet. We are so pleased to have purchased these shoes, my 3 year old son demands we put them on him, even inside the house. His toes are no longer cramped like in other brands of shoe and they've already withstood paint and skids on his scooter. Wish we had found these shoes sooner

My daughter loved these just as much as the Rosie pair. However they are very wide at the top which can make them a bit more harder for little people to adjust to walking in shoes.

Our daughter hates wearing shoes and either won't put them on at all or will take them off after a couple of hours. She loves these rainbow shoes so much she didn't want us to take them off! Also love that you can wash the insoles. Definitely recommend
We tried the Taylor's initially but they weren't wide enough for our boy's apparently chubby feet. These fit perfectly and our little boy (early walker) loves stomping around in them. They seem to have just the right amount of grip that supports him to stay steady without tripping himself up. Love that they are able to be worn with/without socks. Velcro allows for easy adjustability and ensuring a good fit. Seem like a really well made/quality shoe!
These have been a great first pair of shoes for my little walker. They are so easy to put on, which is great as she was a bit unsure of shoes to begin with and we needed to get them on quick!
They are also really stable and help her with walking, and they are adorable! I'm considering getting a pair in the size up for her as well.

Shoes are a perfect fit and very stylish. They easy to fit onto little feet, my 7 year old can now pop them on for me.
These shoes are excellent, good amount of room for width and growth. Measuring suggested was exact. Could not be happier
